Relay Portal · effective 13 July 2026

Who we are

Relay Portal is an internal operations tool used by the team behind Happening In DTLA and DTLA ArtNight to plan events, manage work, and schedule our own social posts. It is not a product offered to the general public and there is no public sign-up — accounts exist only for members of our workspace.

What we store

  • Workspace accounts — the name and email address of each team member, so we know who filed, owns, and completed work.
  • Our own operational records — tasks and tickets, event and vendor details, content posts and their captions, invoices and payment records.
  • Media — photos and video the team uploads. The files themselves are stored in our connected Dropbox; Relay keeps only a reference to the file, a small thumbnail, and labels.
  • Business email — messages from connected work mailboxes, so correspondence with vendors, venues and partners sits alongside the record it relates to.

Social integrations

When we connect an Instagram or Facebook Page account, the access token is stored encrypted, server-side, and is never exposed to the browser. It is used for one thing: publishing the content our own team creates and schedules in Relay, to our own accounts.

We do not collect, request, or store data about other people from Meta. We do not read other users’ profiles, followers, messages, or activity, and we do not use these integrations for advertising, profiling, or analytics about anyone.

The same applies to our Dropbox connection: it is used to store and retrieve the team’s own media files, and nothing else.

Who we share it with

We don’t sell data and we don’t share it for advertising. Data is processed by the services that run the product — our database and file host, our email provider, our payment processor, and the AI provider that drafts captions and summaries — each only to the extent needed to do that job.

Access and deletion of your data

If you are a member of our workspace, or you have been in touch with us and want to know what we hold about you, you can ask us to show it to you or delete it.

To request deletion of your data, email dino@dinobuiatti.com with the subject “Data deletion request”, from the address you use with us, and tell us what you want removed.

We’ll confirm within 7 days and complete the deletion within 30 days, except where we are required to keep a record (for example, an invoice we must retain for tax purposes) — in which case we’ll tell you exactly what is being kept and why.

Disconnecting an Instagram, Facebook or Dropbox account from Relay immediately revokes and deletes the stored token for it.
